If You Want a Job Done…
If you want a job done…
simply make it fun.
“In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun. You find the fun and ‘snap’, the job’s a game.” Mary Poppins
I’ve been carefully noticing my working levels, moral interests, and that of the general environment, the general mood and ‘willingness’ to work. I’ve been looking at the cohesiveness as a unit.
What has become clearly noticeable from this experiment is that the work goes better when we all laugh. Not to say that we don’t argue and disagree, but things work best when we all throw things around, and work together. We share a vested interest in the person and the result. We begin to work as a whole instead of isolated cells. In a true Decentralist frame work, people are both nodes and isolated. Information is distributed between nodes horizontally, as well as a copy is placed vertically for all others to see.
It’s our open-ness and our sharing, our removal of rules, our connection as people that is enabling us to work together, and work better. When we get oppressed into rules, we close down, things get hostile, uncomfortable, and demotivated. Remove the Rules.
