How to Hire

This has been going around in my head for about 2 years now. I always quote it right, but it always sounds wrong when said. Now, I will know that regardless of sounding wrong, it is the right quote.

“A player hire A players; B players hire C players”

I’ve never heard that quote…

One that is similar:

The B students work for the A students and the A students work for the C students. I’ve never seen it in print, I’ve only heard it in corporate conference rooms from irritated middle managers. I’m guessing they were the A students.

Hey Wade,

Never seen that quote before but the link and it’s follow-up comments were interesting. I originally took As, Bs and Cs to mean the performers scale in terms of ability but I note some take it as academic records. A case either way. I’m probably wrong but it works either way I think.
