Video Showing Evolution of Web 2.0
Below is a youtube video showing the evolvement of the computer, the internet, to where it currently sits today. This place in time, virtual reality, on the machine has been labelled Web2.0. Web2.0 is a philosophy of information portability, sharing, tagging and design aesthetics amongst many other factors.
This video carries a bit of weight, it was developed by Michael Wesch, an Assistant Professor of Cultural Anthropology in Kansas State University.

Below is another video showing the result of the evolution of technology. This time, Data from the U.S. Federal aviation administration is used to create animations of flight traffic patterns and density. It is amazing to watch a major part of the world from a god-like view and seeing all these little lines flying around the place. Sunrise in New York can be determined by the burst of activity. Yet from the ordinary, ground perspective, planes are massive and are usually seen in groups of 20-30. I have renewed respect for the FAA et al. From a security point of view, it’s slightly scary seeing how well we can be tracked, but let’s forget about that for now.
