Happy Monday

I found this image somehow through FBi. It captured my attention right away.
Firstly, the words themselves; “Happy Monday” How often do you read/see Happy Monday. I know I haven’t seen it in a very long time.
Secondly, the location; the outside wall of a cemetery; public/clear view.
Thirdly, the brightness of the colours, just incase the words alone do not hold enough impact.
Fourthly, the message. Be happy, how does it get any better.
Fifthly, the execution. Upon first seeing this image, there is nothing to do but laugh. It’s just so bizarre.
Sixthly, the idea. The idea of placing a Happy Monday sign on a cemetery wall is perfect juxtaposition over all the above layers. The tie in between the cemetery which is normally associated by people as a sad place, and this bright overlay is just so simple. It’s almost a message from beyond the grave, telling people to stop suffering, and live, do not be sad, be happy.
Bravo Glenda!
