Vista Late Feature Request
God I hope this feature exists in Vista.
When pasting a file into a website, or looking to save a file, or even open a file, the 2 frame window comes up(as below).
Not being able to change the contents of what’s in the left (IE what the user wants, specific per application/type/user/system(>> || < <)) is frustrating. I find this to be a natural evolution in computing, it is part of the whole meta/tagging concept, yet appears to have been glossed over.
I’ve checked out Windows Vista Improved productivity(microsoft.com/windowsvista/experiences/productivity.mspx) and my “feature” isn’t catered for. They’re almost there, it will become recently used; something computer defined, not user selected.
